Patagonian Walnut is in the same family as Brazilian Walnut/IPE. It is a lighter brown colour than Brazilian Walnut and offers golden/tan highlights. It also offers more crowed grain/curl figure than Brazilian Walnut. The wood walnut has a very high resistance to all insect and fungal attack. Because of its high durability it is even use for Naval Construction, bridge building and archery bow.

APPEARANCE

Patagonian Walnut ranges from a golden tan to a medium brown colour. Some pieces may have darker brown graining.
